Hi my name's Simon Gibson, I grew up in Sydney but have been in Vietnam for about 20 months all up.

I started this site with the intention of giving my thoughts about what I see and feel as an Australian living in Vietnam. I also want to share some things I've learned through experience to help anyone who is venturing over here to have a more interesting and enjoyable experience. It is a great place with great people but it can a little overwhelming at first.

I will be updating the Blog page every few days and adding a new piece to the Stories page every week or two.

Please remember the thoughts expressed are only my opinions and even though I will endeavour to make sure that any factual errors are kept to a minimum the odd one may slip through.
